Sundry Sunday :: my urban dictionary: no-win fandom

3 Aug

Def.: being involved in a television program, film, book, etcetera that you know will hurt you more than it won’t.  See also: fandom in general, honestly.

Usage: 1) Watching Game of Thrones as someone who has read and become attached to the books is a form of no-win fandom.  2)  A more specific example of no-win fandom is when my friends lure me into something saying “there’s this girl you’re really going to like” and I already know, because of tumblr, that she dies horribly.
