Also part of why I’m on this whole hipstermodern Westeros kick is that I’m currently reading books and feeling feelings, and this helps. Somehow. And it’s fun. So today have an adventure in layering and what-is-going-on with Ygritte (Rose Leslie), since I figure she does layer to hell anyway and besides I can conceive of hipster her pretty easily. I like her pretty well, and I really like her accent, and this was a fun experiment.

This is about as much fake fur as I can even theoretically handle, but I figure in modern times there wouldn’t be quite so much hunting and wearing of furs, and this is snappy while still furry. Adventures in Anchorage Coat, ModCloth.

So take off the furry-trimmed coat and you’re still going to have several layers to sort through. The first being a giant sweater (hey, it’s cold up beyond the wall). Coffee Connoisseur Cardigan, ModCloth.

This has that cutesy-but-also-snarky kind of feel to it. And I couldn’t find any of the more picture-y t-shirts on there that felt right, so I went with it. Knot to Mention Top, ModCloth.

Because Ygritte is a brave woman who wears many neutralish tones on her body at the same time and does not give a damn. Spring in Every Season Jeans in Taupe, ModCloth.

And these are neatly pulled over the above-used skinny jeans. Because they can be. Change For the Sweater Boot, ModCloth.

And a giant backpack just feels necessary somehow. Backpack to the Future Bag, ModCloth.
