I was tipped off to the existence of cupcake vodka recently, and acquired it even more recently; this, of course, prompted the invention of a new drink.
(The picture is ridiculous oversaturated, I know, but the drink looked redder IRL and it’s cooler and more relevant if it’s redder-looking, so.)
Fairy Blood
1 shot vanilla schnapps
1 shot cupcake vodka (the one I used was lemon, if that makes a difference)
1/2 shot crème de cassis
Howevermuch Mountain Dew you want.
1 shot grenadine
Proportions all suggested, of course. Put in the schnapps and vodka first, then add Mountain Dew. Drizzle in the crème de cassis and then the grenadine and watch it turn red and delightful.
This drink, like many of my drinks, is sweet and kind of weird. But I figure it makes sense. Fairy blood is supposed to be sweet and weird.
