I still think it’s cute that there’s a bunny named Angel. And that bunny has the biggest head in the world and is a brat. But FLUTTERSHY YOU ARE THE CUTEST EVER.
Rarity was making stable eyes at the beginning too. But Rarity has kind of permanent stable eyes. It’s the obvious abundance of eyelashes she sports.
Oh my goodness, Flutter is so conscientious. I want to hug her so much. Of all the ponies, I want to hug Flutter the most. I just want to wrap my arms around her neck and brush her mane and hug her hard. Then I want to hug AJ and maybe pat Twi awkwardly on the shoulder because she probably doesn’t like hugs.
Rarity sounds occasionally British at times. And Twi sounds so very serious all the time. LOOK RESOLVE FACE. My darling. Nice hit of grindhouse action star pony shots here, indeed. Somehow I bet that the other ponies won’t listen even if Twi has her resolve face on and wackiness will ensue. Is that what’s going to happen? Or is this episode about Flutter being all nervous and then learning how to be brave in her own quiet way?
Gosh Angel the bunny and Spike the dragon don’t get along do they. And Rainbow oh my goodness don’t be so snappy everyone has different strengths and Flutter’s strengths are in being nice and you should not judge her. Really, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a story of empowerment and learning how to tolerate each others’ differences and d’aww I just want to write a proper essay on this once I’ve got a few more episodes under my belt and oh my gosh AJ you darling you are the most lovely and patient and good-hearted.
Rainbow you are not patient. Flutter it is okay to have social anxiety. Everypony here has some sort of psychological difference, don’t they? Is that really what this cartoon is about? A matriarchal society of ponies who are, for all intents and purposes, treated equally despite their differences? Dammit I love this show in all its insanity. And Rainbow, bad. Stop being snippy to/about Flutter. She is too sweet to hate on ever.
Okay, Flutter, when you put it like that it’s okay to be scared of dragons. But c’mon baby, c’mon, trust your friends and trust yourself and there will be a big mess of bad and Twi will get into a scrape and she’ll need Flutter’s help to save her in the nick of time or something. This is predictable but you know what? I don’t really care. Because this is a show about positive ladyfriendship and learning how to adapt to everypony’s uniquenesses.
And it’s Flutter’s turn! Come on baby! Yes get angry and stand up for your friends and be awesome! You fierce darling! You are so fabulous! AND YOU ARE STRONG LIKE AN AMAZON. All the hugs for Fluttershy. “You’re not a bad dragon, you just made a bad decision.” That is perfect and beautiful.
Oops, Angel the bunny is giving Spike the dragon a hard time. And thank you for the moral lesson, Twi. That was beautifully phrased.
Next episode. Unicorn telekinesis is my favorite thing there is. And AJ’s slang is my second favorite thing there is. Beautiful slang. You are the most precious, AJ. “Whilst” and “y’all” and “reckon” and oh my goodness it is the best. Also it’s cute when they walk backwards. I can’t help it I like little cute things like that. And I love that AJ’s hat never falls off.
A magical lightning rod, Twi? I love you the most. And oh my gosh, “fussbudget.” That’s a word I haven’t heard in a while. And look at Twi, being all excited about slumber parties because she’s never had one. You adorable darling. With your reference books. Oh my. Some hugs for Twi, too.
Pony face masks? Oh, and AJ doesn’t wanna have a sleepover. And Twi is in one of her sociable moods so she wants it and she is so cute and I love her. Doing it all by the book to make it “officially fun!” That is the greatest.
Oh AJ and your secret metaphor that isn’t so secret. Rarity and your secret metaphor that is even less secret. “It is a ghost story. They’re all made up.” Yes of course, Rarity. Is Twi’s ghost story going to be a not so secret metaphor too, or just one of those silly ones like I remember from junior high? One of those. This is feeling eerily like slumber parties I partook in during junior high. And I feel, unsurprisingly, like poor Twilight Sparkle. I recognize this quite a lot.
Oh Rarity and your slight pony OCD. You’re growing on me a little. Fake snoring, I remember that move. I wish I’d had the nerve to actually call my guests on their behavior like Twi, because I’m pretty sure that’s going to cause them to see the error of their ways and solve whatever problem is taking place. Eventually. After some slapstick cartoon humor.
Oh Twi and your books. I love you, that is all I can say. So concerned with making this work perfectly. I remember that feeling too. And now they’re all seeing how their personal quirks need to work together to help each other out BECAUSE FRIENDS HELP EACH OTHER OUT and I love this freakety show. And AJ’s hat is still on her head. Cutie. And PONY HUGS. So many friendship feelings.
